As part of the refurbishment of this hostel which houses up to 50 people, Genersys were involved in providing solar water heating for the LTHW heating.
In total, 10 x Genersys 1000-10 were installed on 1 bank of south facing roof. The panels provide secondary heating to a 2000L SS DHW cylinder in which primary heating is provided by gas boilers.
As agreed with main M&E contractor, the system was installed and commissioned in 2 days.
