Based on a survey conducted by the Genersys engineering team and an assessment and analysis of the projected DHW demand with M&E project engineers and project architect, it was concluded that a 20 square meter Genersys solar panel system would be required. The 10-panel Genersys system provides heating to a 2000L DHW dual-coil SS cylinder in conjunction with a dedicated gas boiler.
The complete system was installed in 3 days by the Genersys commercial solar water heating installation team.
The panels are recessed on a single A-Frame bank. This location was chosen:
1. To reduce the visual impact of the panels on the structure
2. To ensure that the panel orientation was optimized
3. To minimize the solar pipe-run to the calorifier.
In this way, the Genersys solar water heating system performance has been optimized and now that the solar water heating system is commissioned, the college is reaping the benefits of a professionally designed and expertly installed Genersys solar water heating system.
Yet another successful commercial solar water heating installation by the Genersys Ireland team.
