Florencecourt House is operated by the National Trust and is a splendid example of an 18th-century Irish house and estate.
Genersys Ireland were contacted as part of a major refurbishment at Florencecourt to investigate the provision of solar water heating at this property. Owing to the sensitive nature of the project, considerable care was taken about positioning of the solar panels, panel specification and system integration. It was agreed to use the latest flat evacuated 1450 panel technology developed by Genersys plc. Delivering a powerful 1400 KWHrs per annum, the panels combine the safety and maintenance free attributes of flat-panel technology with the increased efficiency that evacuated panels deliver.
As agreed with main contractor, this custom installation was completed in two days. This project again demonstrates the capability of Genersys personnel to deliver real-time solar water heating solutions within complex and diverse commercial applications.
