Solar power, energy and renewable energy systems

How It Works

Recent global concern about climate change, as well as increased energy costs from the ‘traditional’ non-renewable sources of energy (oil, fossil fuels and electricity), has seen the developed world rapidly adopt new renewable energy sources.
These alternative energy sources, such as solar energy , reduce energy bills and, through the usage of natural resources, help the environment at the same time.

Solar water heating systems work by collecting radiation from the sun’s rays.  When heating fluid within the solar panels installed in your roof begin to heat, this heat is transferred indirectly to the water in your hot water storage cylinder, where it can be used for normal domestic purposes.

How solar energy works

Cost Savings

A Genersys solar panel heating system can provide up to 70% of the average home’s hot water requirements annually. Even in the winter months when there is significantly less sunlight, the system can provide up to 20% of your daily hot water and backed up by your primary domestic water heating (gas or oil). This of course means that your primary water heating system has much less work to do to take your cylinder to full temperature and therefore less fuel is required.

Solar Panel Installation

Our solar panel installation section highlights the key stages involved in the Genersys solar panel installation process. In most cases, our highly trained solar water heating installation engineers can complete the installation on the same day that they arrive. Find out what some of our satisfied customers have had to say about the professionalism of our installation teams and the high quality of the Genersys solar water heating systems.

We supply two different types of system. Please view our range of solar panels, or please contact us today to discuss your specific requirements and a member of our team will be happy to advise you on the most appropriate solar water heating solution for your home.

Remember, if your business is VAT registered in the Irish Republic, you won't pay VAT on our systems.
